Community Involvement
Justice Nora Longoria’s distinguished career includes serving as a Texas 13th Court of Appeals Justice for over a decade. She began her legal practice as an insurance defense attorney and later co-founded Hockema & Longoria, a firm which focused on civil litigation. Her legal expertise spans personal injury, product liability, commercial disputes, and more.
Due to her extensive trial experience, Justice Longoria was nominated and became a member of the prestigious American Board of Trial Advocates. She is also a sustaining Life Fellow of the Texas Bar Foundation.
Justice Longoria received her undergraduate degree from Texas A&M in 1986 and her Law Degree from The University of Texas School of Law in 1990. She is actively involved in the Hidalgo, Cameron, and Nueces County Bar Associations.
